The city is located in Los Angeles County, approximately 15 minutes northeast of Los Angeles. It is in the Los Angeles – Long Beach – Santa Ana metropolitan area, which at 12.9 million people is the second largest metropolitan area in the United States. In addition, the Los Angeles Area is home to the Los Angeles Avengers of the Arena Football League (AFL), Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Los Angeles Dodgers, two Major League Soccer (MLS) teams (Club Deportivo Chivas USA and Los Angeles Galaxy), two National Basketball Association (NBA) teams (the Los Angeles Clippers and the Lakers), the National Hockey League’s (NHL) LA Kings.
