If you are being posted to Silicon Valley on a short term contract, finding somewhere to stay can be the tricky part. It is a very busy area with many short term visitors, all of whom want San Jose corporate housing rather than being forced to stay in a hotel. Certainly, staying in a hotel can be great, as long as it is only for a couple of weeks, but after that the novelty begins to wear off.
Everything is the same. Today is Wednesday, so the menu will be the same as last Wednesday and the Wednesday before that. Sure, you can sit in the bar and have a few drinks in the evening, but you don’t want to do that all the time. Otherwise, it’s sit in your room and watch TV.
When you use San Jose corporate housing you have your “own” home. It is much the same as being in your own place, because you can come and go as you please. You don’t have to conform to having dinner when a hotel wants to serve it – usually just a two hour period. You can eat when you like. If you want to stay out at a club until 2am it’s no problem at all. You just do what you want when you want.
Corporate Housing Can Be Difficult To Find
The only problem is that San Jose corporate housing can be very difficult to find, because everybody wants it. However, at Key Housing Connections we have the connections! A great place to consider for corporate housing is downtown San Jose. There is so much to do here. For example, there is the Tech Museum of Innovation. This isn’t your dusty old museum full of stones from the stone age and bits of bone off a plectosaurus.
No, the Tech Museum is a showplace for the latest that Silicon Valley has to offer, and you can get to try it for yourself. For instance, you can explore the Tech Studio which has 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutters to play with. Or you can build and program your own robot! Many of the programs are supported by NASA and Stanford.
Then there’s the San Jose Center For The Performing Arts. Or you can explore Japantown with amazing Japanese restaurants, attend martial arts schools, and buy homemade tofu and manju. Take a stroll in La Sabana Metropolitan Park, or follow the Guadalupe River Trail. Visit the Circle of Palms Plaza where there is an outdoor ice skating rink in December.
Yes, there’s plenty to do in downtown San Jose and with one of our corporate houses or apartments you can be right in the middle of it. Give us a call on (800) 989-0410 to discuss your needs.
