Hooray! Summer is drawing to a close, and the interns have left Los Angeles – or if they haven’t just yet, they very soon will be gone. What that means for you is that that it is time to strike while the iron is hot! If you are a corporate traveler and have Los Angeles short term housing needs, now is the time to get started. Of course, you may not be on corporate business, but just vacationing in Los Angeles this fall or over the winter. Whatever your Los Angeles short term housing needs – whether for a couple of weeks or a few months, at Key Housing we can help you.
There is so much to see and do in Los Angeles on your days off (if you are on business), or any time if you are vacationing. The huge sprawling metropolitan area takes in several different “cities within the city” such as Santa Monica, West Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. Each has its’ own distinctive personality such as the beach scene of Santa Monica or the “posh” bars and boutiques in Rodeo Drive. The lack of public transport could be an issue if you don’t have a car, although the Metro is being expanded as we write, but it’s not actually too hard to get around provided you avoid the rush hour.
Shop Until You Drop
You can shop until you drop in LA. There are upmarket boutiques and stores, brightly lit malls, new age shops selling notions and potions, and flea markets selling antiques and all sorts of weird and wonderful things. Lots of quirky little shops down the backstreets too.
Then there is the largest art museum in the West United States, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Wilshire Boulevard. You could stop by for a drink at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, which is where Clark Gable, Katherine Hepburn, and Marilyn Monroe all used to hang out. Indeed, you could easily spend six months in LA and still not see everything.
As far as Los Angeles short term housing is concerned, we can provide you with pretty much whatever you are looking for. We have one-bedroom apartments, 2-bedroom rentals, and three and four-bedroom homes in prime Los Angeles residential areas. It is just so much more comfortable living in your “own home” as opposed to living out of a suitcase in a cramped hotel bedroom. We also have a choice of luxury serviced accommodation or economy furnished apartments, so we cater for all budgets.
Do please contact us with our requirements. We also have accommodation that allows you to bring your pets.
